HINTS ON USING SEARCH
 

A new and powerful search engine has been added to the site to make it user-friendly. The visitors can now search APTMA member's database on the following fields.

1. HS Code of the product
Enter the complete or partial HS code of the product that you are looking for in the search box. The search results will display names of member mills that are producing the required product range.

2. Name of Mill
Enter the name of the unit that you are looking for in the search box. The search results will display the contacts of the required member unit.

3. Mill Type (Weaving/ Spinning/ Composite)
The search results will display the member units of the required type.

4. Member Units Location by province (Sindh Balochistan/ Punjab/ NWFP)

5. Search by Brand The search results will display the member Brand of the required type.

6. Search by City
The search results will display City wise members mills of the required type.

What are HS Codes?
Pakistan Customs follow the HS Code (Harmonized System Codes) or PCT Codes ( Pakistan Customs Tariff Codes) for Classification of Goods. The HS codes used consist of eight digits where first two digits represent Chapter and second two digits represent the Sub- chapter. The last four digit represent code for specific item.

Example: -
HS Code 52041100 may be interpreted as under.
52 = Cotton
5204 = Cotton sewing thread, whether or not put up for retail sale.
52041100 = Cotton sewing thread not put up for retail sale, Containing 85% or more by weight of cotton.
